We like to believe that times of great adversity can be the catalyst for equally great acts of kindness, imagination and generosity.

Since the early months of 2020, what has amazed us here at Vitrify is the way countries, communities, friends and strangers have rallied together to fight COVID-19, wherever they are and in whatever way they can.

We’re similarly inspired by how all industries have stepped forward to be counted at a time when businesses are themselves concerned with their own survival in challenging conditions. From retraining staff to make PPE to repurposing factories to produce hand sanitiser, the world is awash with stories that helped motivate us during the long days in isolation.

For us, it is exactly the effects of isolation on the most vulnerable that we want to help tackle. For too many children in the UK, already suffering abuse or neglect before coronavirus, a grave situation has been magnified by the isolating effects of the pandemic-induced lockdown. Now, more than ever, they are in need of our help and support.

And so, we wish to do our bit in this time of great national effort, by supporting the incredible work of the NSPCC. As the country’s leading children’s charity, they fight tirelessly to end child abuse – it robs children of their childhood and leaves scars that can last a lifetime.

Throughout this pandemic, we will be donating £5 for each sterling silver rainbow lapel pin sold; and £1 for each metal pin. By buying a lapel pin and saying “thank you”, the NSPCC can continue its fight for every childhood.
